On November, 21, 2000 Vladislav Druzhinin, Radio Blago announcer, proclaimed for the first time “Radio “Blago” is on the air. Listen to us on frequency 102,3 FM”.

Could we ever have thought the idea of creating the Radio would result in a real project, entirely due to “Radio for oneself” site? We didn’t have any hope of going through different stages on the way to “Mass Media” and obtaining several kinds of Licenses.

That’s why we are sincerely grateful to Sergy Komarov, General Director of “Broadcasting Techologies” limited company, for his astonishing optimism. His words: “Do and you’ll succeed” inspired us a lot.

Valentina Vladimirovna Tereshkova, a space pilot, supported us.

• Elena Antonovna Kamburova, National Artiste of Russia (since 1995), a member of Theatre Workers Union, Art Director of the Theatre of Music and Poetry, established by her in 1992, suggested an idea of our radio station.
• Hegumene Xenia, Mother Superior of the Holy Trinity New Golutvin convent took up preparing spiritual programmes.
• Grigory Gladkov, a composer, took care of children songs.
• Evgeny Pavlovich Velikhov, President of Russian scientific centre “Kurchatov institute” helped us to create a site of Radio “Blago”.
• Vladislav Druzhinin, a producer, Leonid Kutser, an actor, Stanislav Fedosov, an actor, have been recording sounds to our programmes.

Our love and gratefulness to all those who took part in creating Radio “Blago” and continue to do it now.

In January, 2004 a site of Radio “Blago” started working.
